SOUVIN RITCHEN FOUND GUILTY OF MURDER

 

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 23, 2018 (RSCNPF): Thirty-year-old Souvin Ritchen, who was formally from Shadwell but lived at Durant Avenue, was found guilty of murder by a majority of the jury at the end of his trial at the High Court on November 21, 2018.

The accused was indicted on August 26, 2015 for the murder of nineteen-year-old Rahkeim Hanley of Fort Thomas Road, Basseterre.  The Judge ordered the preparation of a Social Inquiry Report and Ritchen was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until January 25, 2019 when sentencing is to take place.

ACKEEM CONNOR CONVICTED AND SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR ROBBERY

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 22, 2018 (RSCNPF): Twenty-three-year-old Ackeem Connor of St. Paul’s was sentenced to serve time in prison for the offence of Robbery at a High Court hearing on November 16, 2018.

POLICE CHARGE TWO FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER

 

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 21, 2018 (RSCNPF): Police have charged two men for the attempted murder of John Yearwood.

 

On Tuesday, November 20, 2018 Police charged Patrice Monzack and Mikey Mills, both of Newcastle, for the offence of Attempted Murder which was committed on November 08, 2018. Both men are currently warded in a stable condition at the Alexandra Hospital where they are being treated for gunshot injuries.
