ABANDONED VESSEL RECOVERED ON ST.KITTS
The Ministry of National Security in the Government of St. Christopher (St. Kitts) and Nevis is investigating the circumstances that led to a rubber dingy coming ashore at Keys Bay, St. Kitts, on March 9th, 2024. Having been alerted by the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force Coast Guard (SKNDF-CG) of suspicious activity in the area, officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) and the St. Kitts and Nevis Defence Force Infantry (SKNDF-I) responded to the scene. Though the vessel was met
empty, the law enforcement officers observed several personal items in the vessel, an indication that it had previously been occupied by multiple persons. It is currently unknown if the dingy came ashore with said persons on-board.

TAMARA NISBETT CHARGED FOR DRUG POSSESSION
Tamara Nisbett of Prickley Pear Alley, Basseterre, St. Kitts, has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug. Ms Nisbett’s charge resulted from a search warrant that was executed on her premises by the officers of the Anti-Narcotics Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) on March 5th, 2024.

KISHORN SWANSTON CHARGED FOR CANNABIS POSSESSION & IMPORTATION
The Police have charged Kishorn Swanston of Jessup’s Village, Nevis, for the offences of
Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply, and Importation of Cannabis. The
offenses were committed on February 29th, 2024, at Long Point, Nevis. Mr Swanston was charged on March 1st, 2024, at the Cotton Ground Police Station.

POLICE CHARGE JOSEPH CHARLES FOR SANDY POINT MURDER
Thirty-four (34)-year-old Joseph Anthony Charles alias ‘Happy Happy’ of Back Way, Sandy Point, St. Kitts, has been charged for the murder of Jermaine Greene, a Jamaican
national who was resident on St. Kitts. The crime was committed on February 13th, 2024, at Downing Street, Sandy Point.
