Murder victim died from multiple blunt force traumas; police looking for woman’s boyfriend

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 23, 2018 – The Federation’s second murder victim, Shirley Dawn Morton, died as a result of multiple blunt force traumas to the head, an examination of the body has concluded.

Police have also issued a statement seeking the assistance of the public in its bid to question Wayne “Spyer” Chapman, the boyfriend of Morton.

THE FEDERATION has recorded its second homicide, when the body of a woman was found with a wound to her head  in Nevis.

According to information obtained by Buckie Got It News, the incident occurred in the Hanleys Road area.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the woman is said to be in her 50’s (Shirley Morton ) ; she received a single wound to head and which may have succumbed to her injury on the spot.

Police have confirmed the incident to the media, pointing out that they are currently on scene.

My condolences goes out to the families and friends.
