Azamara’s newest ship, the Azamara Onward, will sail a world cruise from Fort Lauderdale on Jan. 5, 2024. 

The 155-night sailing will visit more than 40 countries on six continents. The Onward will do 22 overnight stays and 27 late nights in ports.

Disney Cruise Line will require Covid-19 vaccination for kids ages 5 and older

Body Found Inside SUV Submerged in Miramar Canal

Officers found a body inside a car that was submerged in a canal Thursday in Miramar.

Police responded to the area behind IHOP on Miramar Parkway and University Drive in reference to a missing person.

After a tow truck removed a white Jeep from the water, a man’s body was found inside, Miramar police said.

Authorities did not give any details of the incident or the body.

First pill to treat Covid gets approval in UK

Molnupiravir is the first oral antiviral treatment for Covid to report clinical trial results.

The first pill designed to treat symptomatic Covid has been approved by the UK medicines regulator.

The tablet – molnupiravir – will be given twice a day to vulnerable patients recently diagnosed with the disease.

In clinical trials the pill, originally developed to treat flu, cut the risk of hospitalisation or death by about half.

Health Secretary Sajid Javid said the treatment was a “gamechanger” for the most frail and immunosuppressed.
