Oil spill threatens ecological disaster
The ongoing oil pollution incident from the grounded 203,000 DWT bulk carrier “MV Wakashio” is threatening an ecological catastrophe around the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius, endangering corals, fish and other marine life already under threat from climate change (IPCC 2018).

High Commissioner Dr KJ Srinivasa handed over life-saving medicines & medical supplies worth USD 100,000 St. Kitts and Nevis Health Min Hon.Akilah Bryon Nisbett under Indian assistance to combat #COVID19. This is the second such handover of Indian aid in a week, the previous one being to Antigua and Barbuda last week
