ELI BURTON OF DOMINICA CHARGED WITH CANNABIS POSSESSION & IMPORTATION

On August 25th, 2025, the Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) responded to a report of suspected Cannabis importation at the Deep-Water Port at Bird Rock, St. Kitts, on a vessel that came from Dominica. Officers searched the vessel and located of a quantity of packaged vegetable material suspected to be Cannabis. Eli M. Burton of Dominica, a member of the crew, was taken into Police custody along with the suspected contraband which was shortly thereafter
confirmed to be Cannabis.

SADDLERS BURGLARY & ASSAULT INCIDENT UNDER INVESTIGATION

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is investigating a burglary and assault reported as having occurred in Saddlers, St. Kitts, on August 27th, 2025, between the hours of 3AM and 4AM, at the home of Winston “Monster” Phipps. Mr. Phipps reported that he was awakened by someone calling his name through his window. He then observed someone’s hand extended through the window, holding a firearm. Another masked, armed male individual breached a door, and both assailants forcibly entered his home and demanded money. He further reported that the men assaulted him before stealing a sum of cash and fleeing the scene.
