Development Bank supports Champs for Charity in offering ‘Belly a full laugh’

Basseterre, St. KittsApril 15, 2019 (DBSKN) — Every year since 2016, the Champs for Charity Foundation in its effort to raise funds for deserving members in the community in the areas of health, education and socio-economic development has been bringing a stand-up comedian at their fundraising events, a job the foundation has done with distinction.

The Champs for Charity Foundation is gearing, this year, to do what it has done in the past but good news for persons who have always partnered with its members is that the Foundation will bring not one but four stand-up comedians to entertain. What they will offer has rightfully been described as ‘Belly a full laugh’ because that is exactly what it will be.

ST. KITTS-NEVIS COAST GUARD BRING JIMENEZ AND LORENZO HOME

Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 15, 2019 (RSCNPF): Carlos Jimenez and Ismael Vicente Lorenzo were reunited with their families after the St. Kitts-Nevis Coast Guard transported them back to Nevis late Saturday (April 13).

The two men were reported missing on April 10, after they failed to return from a fishing trip earlier that day. On April 12, Police Officers in Nevis were able to confirm with their counterparts in Saba that Jimenez and Lorenzo were in their custody. A vessel travelling between Saba and St. Maarten spotted the men sitting on top of their boat that had capsized. They were rescued and brought to Saba where they were given food, medical attention and accommodation. The men are in good health and were interviewed once they arrived in Nevis.
