PM Harris Looks Forward to Wave of Patriotism for Independence 35

 

 

 

Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 30, 2018 (SKNIS): Official activities for St. Kitts and Nevis’ 35thAnniversary of Independence will intensify in September 2018, as the celebration continues under the theme “Love, Service, Patriotism and Pride, Independence 35”

At his monthly press conference on Thursday (August 30), Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris cited the extended calendar of events and the wave of national spirit that grips the twin-island Federation around this time period as Independence Day is commemorated annually on September 19. He strongly encouraged residents to participate fully in as many activities as possible, noting that “there is an event for everyone.”
