Development Bank LICB Women’s Team ready for Windies Women Championship 2019

Basseterre, St. KittsMarch 15, 2019 (DBSKN) — The Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis Leeward Islands Cricket Board Women’s Team is in Guyana in preparation for the Windies Women Championship 2019 whose opening ceremony will be held tomorrow Saturday March 16 at the Georgetown Cricket Club.

Six teams, Leeward Islands, Windward Islands, Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and hosts Guyana are taking part in a two-phased competition – the Women’s Super50 Cup, and the Women’s T20 Blaze.

Christchurch shootings: 49 dead in New Zealand mosque attacks

Forty-nine people have been killed and at least 20 wounded in shootings at two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern described the incident as a terrorist attack and one of New Zealand’s “darkest days”.

A man in his late twenties was charged with murder and will appear in court on Saturday morning, police confirmed.

The European Union (EU) Finance Ministers on the 12th March 2019 revised its list of noncooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes. The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis is pleased
to note that the Federation was not named among the jurisdictions placed on the EU’s list.
