West Basseterre MP visits constituents following Hurricane Maria

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, SEPTEMBER 21ST 2017 – Residents of West Basseterre affected by recent Hurricane Maria were visited Wednesday by their Parliamentary Representative Hon. Konris Maynard.

“The residents of West Basseterre, much like most residents around the Federation fared fairly well during the passage of Maria. There are some, however, who do need immediate relief to protect their families from leaking roofs,” Maynard said during the walk-through on Wednesday.

THE MAIN ROAD AT OLD ROAD BAY OPENS 6AM ON FRIDAY !!!!!

PM Dr. Timothy Harris, Constituency Rep Hon Lindsay Grant and Hon Ian Patches Liburd were all taken on an informed and guided tour of the road by Engineer Kevin Williams of the PWD. Engineer Williams and his team of technical personnel satisfied the Ministers that the road was passable or up to a minimum standard for vehicular traffic. There will be some additional work taking place over night . Thus as of tommorow morning at 6am the island maim road at Old Road Bay will be OPENED !!! PM Harris and his cabinet colleagues praised the expeditious and efficient manner in which the Public Works department managed and delivered the post maria project. Hon Ian Patches Liburd and Hon Lindsay Grant are expected to heighten the pursuit of the permanent upgrade to the road.
