CONSUMERS’ ACCESS TO MOST AFFORDABLE SHOPPING OPTIONS MADE EASIER THROUGH THE SKN SHOPPER APP
Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 16, 2021 (SKNIS): The Department of Consumer Affairs has made it easier for consumers to easily access shopping options through the SKN Shopper App.
“The Consumer Affairs Department has digitized the information, the prices of goods so that the service can be more efficient. It is a partnership between the department, the business, and the consumer, so it makes life easier at the end of the day,” said Tanja Morton, Senior Consumer Affairs Officer on the April 14 edition of ‘Working for You’. “You can do a price comparison for whichever supermarket so you can know actually before you go to do your shopping where you are going to shop.”

PRODUCT LABELLING IS KEY TO MAKING INFORMED CONSUMER DECISIONS
Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 16, 2021 (SKNIS): Product labelling contains extremely useful information. However, it is often overlooked completely by some consumers while others may read but not fully understand the information provided on labels.
Lesson learnt: never presume you know exactly what a volcano is going to do.
This was posted by the UWI Seismic Research Centre and Professor Richard Robertson who confirmed that another explosion was recorded at the La Soufriere Volcano Explosion at 6:16 am on Friday.
On Thursday evening, Professor Richard Robertson said the volcano changed its pattern and concluded that explosive activity had ended.
