Constituency #3 Fish Fry: Senator Byron-Nisbett thanks Team Unity partner PAM

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, May 7, 2019 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — Peoples Labour Party (PLP) Constituency Number Three (West Basseterre) Branch continues with its efforts to assist community members, and Branch Chairperson Senator Akilah Byron-Nisbett is thanking Team Unity partner party the People’s Action Movement (PAM) for coming on board and assisting in fund raising activities.

On Friday May 3 the Hon Byron-Nisbett, who is also the Deputy National Political Leader of the Peoples Labour Party (one of the three parties in the ruling Team Unity Administration), ably assisted by members of the PLP Executive and the PAM Executive Branches for Constituency Number Three held a Fish Fry fundraising event in the parking lot outside CMR Building in Lime Kiln Commercial Park.

LIBURD CHARGED IN RELATION TO ARMED ROBBERY INCIDENT

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 05, 2019 (RSCNPF): Shaquielle Liburd of Conaree was formally charged with a warrant on May 02, 2019.

Liburd was charged in the first instance for the offence of Armed Robbery which was committed on January 17, 2019 in Conaree.

Liburd is remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.

Tyannah Richards captured the crown of consistency #4 for the labour queen pageant last night at Carnival Village.Congratulations to her on a job well done.

Consistency #2 Kadedra Lewis came 1st runner up, consistency #6 Zubaidah Springer came 2nd runner, and consistency #5 Azariah Vantapool came 3rd runner up.

WALTERS FOUND GUILTY FOR THE MURDER OF TEEN GIRL

Basseterre, St. Kitts, May 03, 2019 (RSCNPF): Twenty-six-year-old Reese Walters of Cotton Ground, Nevis was found guilty of murder today, May 03, 2019. The verdict was unanimous.

Walters was charged with the death of fifteen-year-old Shante Claxton of Jessups Village on September 14, 2014. Claxton was found dead on the bathroom floor of the St. Thomas Primary school.

Walters is remanded at Her Majesty’s Prison awaiting sentencing.
