POLICE INVESTIGATING TRAFFIC ACCIDENT ON ISLAND MAIN ROAD

Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 25, 2019 (RSCNPF): An investigation is currently being conducted into a traffic accident that occurred on the Island Main Road in the vicinity of Ross University on Sunday, April 21 in which two persons were injured.

The accident occurred at approximately 11:15 a.m. It involved motor Omni-bus H30, which is owned and was driven by Jarryd Saunders of Lamberts and motor car R135 owned by Thrifty car rentals and driven by Sascha Aegerter of Switzerland.

The Police Administration within the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda has confirmed that two police constables attached to the police force were arrested in the United States for alleged larceny,” a release to the media from STRATCOM said yesterday.

CONTINUED COLLABORATION BETWEEN PUBLIC AND POLICE TO FURTHER SAFEGUARD RECENT SUCCESSES IN CRIME FIGHTING
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, April 24, 2019 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – Assistant Commissioner of Police with responsibility for the Crime Directorate, Mr. Andre Mitchell, said the sustained collaboration between members of the general public and law enforcement agencies can only result in the continued success in crime fighting across St. Kitts and Nevis.

“In St. Kitts, we are having a 42 percent decline in crime and in Nevis, we are at 21 percent. So we are doing pretty well and we continue to urge all concerned, all and sundry, to continue to give of your best as we continue to bring our country to a place where peace abounds,” ACP Mitchell stated recently.
