NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISOR HAS BEEN A VALUED COMPLEMENT TO THE COUNTRY’S NATIONAL SECURITY FRAMEWORK, SAYS PM HARRIS

 

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, October 5, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, has reiterated his support for National Security Advisor (NSA), (Ret.) Major General Stewart Saunders and the valuable knowledge and experience he brings to the national security apparatus in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The national security advisor, which is a post prescribed by law, is a public officer and the chief professional advisor on national security matters in the Office of the Prime Minister, and is appointed in accordance with Section 79 of the Constitution of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Team Unity Administration has meritoriously responded to the housing needs of the country

 

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, October 5, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — Dr the Hon Timothy Harris-led Team Unity Administration, in collaboration with the National Housing Corporation (NHC), has been making the dream of home ownership a reality for hundreds of citizens through the Unity Housing Solution Programme.

New homeowners in Constituencies Number Seven, West Basseterre, and Central Basseterre would have had their dreams come true when at different key presentation ceremonies held in their respective areas in the month of August they received keys to their homes. A couple of new homeowners in East Basseterre will later this month hold, and shake, keys to their homes thanks to the Unity Housing Solution Programme.

PHASE ONE OF ROAD REHABILITATION PROJECT IN ST. KITTS ALMOST COMPLETE

 

Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 04, 2018 (SKNIS): Work on Phase 1 of the resurfacing and realignment of the main road in St. Kitts is approximately 80 percent complete.
At the Prime Minister’s monthly press conference on Thursday (October 04), Minister of Public Infrastructure, the Honourable Ian Patches Liburd, updated the public on the project that began in June 2018. Resurfacing and realignment activities under Phase 1 cover the areas between Camps and Challengers, and Keys and Conaree. Drain and sidewalk construction is also being undertaken.
