Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 26, 2018 (RSCNPF): A fatal shooting incident that occurred in the Shadwell area at about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon (September 25) is being investigated by the Police.

Bill Cosby sentenced to 3 to 10 years

(CNN)Bill Cosby, once known as “America’s Dad,” was sentenced Tuesday to three to 10 years in a state prison for drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand at his home 14 years ago.

Cosby’s bail was revoked and he was escorted from the courthouse in handcuffs.

“This was a serious crime,” Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Judge Steven O’Neill said. “Mr. Cosby, this has all circled back to you. The day has come, the time has come.”

Cosby, convicted in April of aggravated indecent assault, declined to speak to the court prior to the sentence. His attorneys have filed an appeal.

The annual observance offers an opportunity to facilitate and celebrate the dreams, aspirations, talents and energies of young people between the ages of 12 and 29 years. Some of the more popular activities organized by the Department of Youth Empowerment include a Youth March and Rally, High School Chef Competition, Island Bike Ride, and the 25 Most Remarkable Teens Awards.
