CURACAO SEEKS HELP FROM ST. KITTS AND NEVIS IN FINDING FUGITIVE MURDERER 

 The Public Prosecutor’s Office of Curacao is soliciting the assistance of the people of St. Kitts and Nevis in locating a dangerous fugitive who has allegedly committed several violent crimes in the Dutch islands, Curacao.

23-year old Quincley Emanuell Poppen is a suspect in the armed robbery and killing of a Chinese merchant in Curacao. Authorities in the south Caribbean island believe that he may have relocated and found refuge in St. Kitts and Nevis.

PLP Youth Arm treats over 100 fathers and father figures to Father’s Day luncheon

 BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, June 19, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — Youth Arm of the Peoples Labour Party (PLP) sprang into action and gave fathers a treat on Father’s Day, which was celebrated on Sunday June 17. It started with a special Father’s Day church service and culminated with a luncheon where over 100 fathers, and a number of father figures (women), were the centre of attention.

ECCB reports condominium tax drops 60 percent and a double digit decline in CBI programme in St. Kitts-Nevis
Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 18, 2018 – A decline in property tax receipts was driven by a nearly 60 percent decrease in condominium tax in 2017 in St. Kitts and Nevis, the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank (ECCB) is reporting.
