Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 18, 2018 (SKNIS): The eighty-five (85) primary school students who were recipients of Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris’ 15th Help-a-Child Programme on Wednesday, October 17, at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Bourryeau, were encouraged to play their part in their education as it is important to remain committed to the pursuit of academic goals.

SKNNCC TO HOST CARIBBEAN CARNIVAL CHAIRPERSON CONVENTION
Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 18, 2018 (SKNIS): Chairman of the St. Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC), Mr. Noah Mills, said that the committee will host a Caribbean Carnival Chairperson Convention dubbed the “Four C’s” in December this year, which will bring together regional Carnival chairpersons to discuss issues such as certification for judges, standardization of criteria and exposure for Carnival winners.

“Maybe this was destiny,” Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris said yesterday, Wednesday, October 17th, 2018, at his 15th Annual Help-a-Child Program Primary School Scholarship Award Ceremony.

“When I look back at my own life – where I was and what I have become – all throughout my educational journey someone stood by me, someone supported me…,” Prime Minister Harris said while explaining why establishing Help-a-Child 15 years ago was an easy decision.
