The award was presented to Range Developments by the Prime Minister Dr. The Honorable Timothy Harris during a gala function earlier this week to to celebrate the Prime Minister’s visit to the UAE.

Senator Akilah Byron-Nisbett Represents St.Kitts-Nevis at 3rd Gathering of the Open Parliament Network on the occasion of the VIII Summit of the Americas in Lima, PERU

Senator Hon. Akilah Byron-Nisbet is currently wrapping up participation in the ParlAmericas Open Parliament Network forum in Peru as part of the 2018 Summit of the Americas.

Hon. Byron-Nisbett represented the federation of St.Kitts-Nevis at the gathering, which was held on the premises of the Congress of the Republic in LIMA , Peru, which served as the official parliamentary gathering of the Summit of the Americas, in which legislators from more than 20 countries in the Americas and the Caribbean discussed  the importance of open states for democratic governance against corruption, as well as the crucial role that legislatures play in developing and implementing solutions to this problem.

British national dies while scuba diving in St. Kitts waters

Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 13, 2018 – A United Kingdom national from one of two visiting cruise ships died while scuba diving Thursday.

According to reports Michael Henry Dunn reportedly encountered difficulty while diving.

WINNFM reported the incident happened in the waters off the Ship Wreck area.

“The tour operators brought his body back to Port Zante in Basseterre where they were met by police officers,” the media outlet said.

Police have only confirmed the incident but is yet to provide details.

It is expected that an autopsy will be carried out to determine the exact cause of Dunn’s death.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 12, 2018 –Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris has been slammed for not keeping several major promises.

The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) caretaker for St. Christopher 8, Dr.  Terrance Drew has been severely critical of Harris and his Team Unity Government for being unable to manage the economy, pass good governance, integrity in public life and freedom of information legislation as promised, increasing hardship by failing to reduce the cost of living and eliminating several social programmes that assisted students and the vulnerable.
