PLP Constituency Number Three Branch holds successful fundraising fish fry event

 BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, March 12, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — Peoples Labour Party (PLP) Branch in Constituency St. Christopher Number Three, West Basseterre, fulfilled one of its mandates when it held a fundraising fish fry and barbeque event on Boyd’s Lawn Friday evening March 9.

The event was well supported by scores of party supporters and non-supporters alike from Constituency Number Three and further afield who could not resist the aroma of fried fish and barbeque chicken that filled the cool night air, even as they were happy to contribute to a worthy cause.

PM HARRIS’ PRESS CONFERENCE ON WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14TH

 Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris is pleased to once more update citizens and residents of St. Kitts and Nevis on matters of national interest.

The Honourable Prime Minister’s monthly press conference will be held on Wednesday, March 14th, 2018 from 3:00pm in the Parliamentary Lounge at Government Headquarters.

The press conference will be broadcast live on national media and attended by the press corps who will ask questions for the benefit of the listening and viewing public.

The St. Kitts and Nevis Information Service (SKNIS) will stream the press conference live on Facebook Wednesday, March 14th, starting at 3:00pm.  Prime Minister Harris’ press conferences are always streamed live on www.facebook.com/sknismedia/

Decomposing body found in Tabernacle house
Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 10, 2018 – Several sources have confirmed that a decomposing body of a male was found in a house in Tabernacle Village on Sunday.
A reliable source says the body is that of 58-year-old Roy Liburd, a known mental patient.
An autopsy is to be carried out to determine the exact cause of death.
POLICE are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a male body in a home in Carty’s Pasture, Tabernacle, .
Sources tell SKNVIBES the man may have been dead for several days as the body had already begun to decompose and a strong stench was present in the area.
A small crowd gathered at the location as investigators from the Crime Scene Unit used masks to enter the premises.
