British Government continues to give assistance to islands

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 22, 2018 – The British Government said Thursday it continues to help islands rebuild after the devastation caused by Hurricanes Irma and Maria in September 2017.

The UK Government said it remains committed to helping Caribbean islands to build back better.

To date, the British Government has provided £185m in aid to Caribbean, Commonwealth partner countries and UK Overseas Territories.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 22, 2018 – Park Hyatt St. Kitts, first venture into the Caribbean has been a long time coming. Originally slated to open in the fall of 2016, the brand’s St. Kitts property didn’t debut until this past November, but it has certainly been worth the wait.
The luxury resort was attracted to St. Kitts by then Prime Minister the Right Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas.
