Body of young male discovered near airport

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 27, 2018 – Police are on the scene near St. Kitts’ Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport where the lifeless body of a young male has been found.

The body was found in vicinity of the airport Control Tower.

Passenger bus crashes during robbery

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 27, 2018 – A passenger bus driver was injured Friday night when the vehicle crashed during a robbery.

According to a reliable source, the robber escaped with a gold chain, but no cash.

The driver, a young man was taken to hospital, treated for slight injures and discharged.

DOUGLAS’ UNCONTROLLABLE AND DESPICABLE BEHAVIOUR DISPLAYED IN PARLIAMENT

Once again, the nation was appalled at the uncontrollable and despicable behavior of Denzil Douglas in the National Assembly on Tuesday 23rd January. This was in response to the news that he is being taken to court for owning and using a passport of the Commonwealth of Dominica.

Dr Douglas once again showed his true nature. He quickly became angry, abusive and disrespectful to the Speaker and the Attorney General. He shouted, ranted and screamed like a spoilt brat simply because he was not allowed to get his own way to curse and abuse as usual. Speaker Perkins has established a different standard of conduct for 2018 and has encouraged all parliamentarians to adopt and act accordingly.
