Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 18, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period January 05-11, 2018.

 

ARRESTED AND BAILED:

Arrested: Calvin Thomas of Buckleys Estate was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Battery.

Arrested: Bruce Rogers of Mount Idle, Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Suspicion of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.

DRUGS AND BULLETPROOF VEST FOUND AT HOME IN PHILLIPS

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 19, 2018, (RSCNPF): Two persons were taken into police custody after a quantity of vegetable material suspected to be cannabis and a bulletproof vest were found at a residence in Phillips Village.

CHARGES LAID FOR DRUGS FOUND INSIDE WATER HEATER

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 22, 2018 (RSCNPF): Both Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise Department and the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force have laid charges after drugs were found concealed in a water heater.

Former PLP Chairman questions alleged sale of Brighton Estate house to a sister of PM Harris

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 24, 2018Douglas Wattley, the former Chairman of Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris’ People’s Labour Party (PLP), is questioning the alleged sale of the Brighton Estate house at a reduced price, to one of Dr. Harris’ sisters.

In a recent FaceBook posting, Wattley noted that the Brighton’s Estate house was put up for sale by the Privatization Unit – an organization set up under the Denzil Douglas Administration to, among other things, sell off stale Government assets. Estate properties have been offered for sale, across the island, to the public under this arrangement.

PM Harris continues to victimise young people; five customs officers sent home on Tuesday

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 24, 2018 The Timothy Harris Government in St. Kitts and Nevis continues its onslaught on the young people in the twin-island federation.

Five young persons with families to feed were forced to join the long unemployment lines when their right to work and engage in employment were taken away by Prime Minister Harris.
