HARRIS COMES UNDER LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL CONDEMNATION OVER MOVE ON THE ST. KITTS-NEVIS CITIZENSHIP BY INVESTMENT PROGRAMME

Thousands of local bloggers and callers to radio stations in St. Kitts and Nevis have forcefully decried the decision by Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris for suspending the Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation (SIDF) option and slashing by fifty per cent (50%) the value of the contribution option of the country’s Citizenship By Investment (CBI) programme. One caller to a local radio station remarked that after destroying the CBI programme for political purposes whilst in opposition, the Prime Minister is now using the passage of two hurricanes as a pretext to devalue our programme in the hopes of reviving it.
