Decomposed body discovered 8 months ago identified as ‘Markie

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – APPROXIMATELY eight months after human remains were discovered in the Newton Ground mountain area (Fahie’s mountain), the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has been able to identify the missing body.

On July 29, 2016, a Police-issued press release indicated that a lifeless body was discovered in the Fahie’s Mountain area.

The Honourable Prime Minister’s Monthly Press Conference will be held TODAY Thursday, March 9th, 2017 from 3:00pm in the Parliamentary Lounge at Government Headquarters.

It will be broadcast live on national media ZIZ Radio and TV and attended by the press corps who will ask questions for the benefit of the listening and viewing public.

The press conference comes on the heels of the Honourable Prime Minister’s trip to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela between Sunday, March 5th and Monday, March 6th to attend an Extraordinary Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – People’s Trade Treaty known simply as ALBA – TCP.
