Grenada to accept only fully vaccinated visitors from 31 July

Effective 31 July 2021, all visitors arriving in Grenada by air or sea port, must be fully vaccinated.

The change in policy forms part of Government’s ongoing efforts to control the spread of Covid-19 in Grenada.

Under the new guidelines, outside of citizens and residents of Grenada, no one will be allowed to enter the country from 31 July, unless they are fully vaccinated. Citizens and residents of Grenada can return whether vaccinated or unvaccinated.

There have been ten reported cases in Barbados of fully vaccinated individuals testing positive for COVID-19.

Speaking Sunday on VOB’s Down to Brass Tacks, Chief Medical Officer, Dr Kenneth George said six of the ten cases were imported, while the other four were locals, all of whom had already been fully vaccinated.

The funeral of the assassinated Haitian President Jovenel Moise on Friday was on disrupted by shots fired nearby and riot gas used on protesters, prompting a high-level U.S. delegations  to abruptly leave and other dignitaries to duck into vehicles for safety.
