American Airlines Adds Two New Caribbean Flights

With the increased competition in the market, American Airlines continues to expand its Miami hub. The carrier has now announced two new Caribbean routes to Anguilla and Dominica.

“We have been strategically growing our route network to give customers more choices to new destinations, better meeting the demand for travel to Miami, the Caribbean and Latin America,” said Juan Carlos Liscano, Vice President of MIA Hub Operations.

After one term in opposition, the Saint Lucia Labour Party (SLP) will form the next Government of Saint Lucia.

The party won 13 seats while the incumbent United Workers Party managed only two seats, the same number won by a pair of unique Independent candidates – Stephenson King, who recently departed from the UWP, and Richard Frederick, a self-proclaimed ‘Independent Labour candidate’.

Grenada to accept only fully vaccinated visitors from 31 July

Effective 31 July 2021, all visitors arriving in Grenada by air or sea port, must be fully vaccinated.

The change in policy forms part of Government’s ongoing efforts to control the spread of Covid-19 in Grenada.

Under the new guidelines, outside of citizens and residents of Grenada, no one will be allowed to enter the country from 31 July, unless they are fully vaccinated. Citizens and residents of Grenada can return whether vaccinated or unvaccinated.
