Civil Aviation holds Drone Consultation

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, April 06, 2021 (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) – The Civil Aviation Division within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Aviation is inviting all drone owners and operators to a consultation on drones within the Federation. The consultation is geared towards sensitizing drone operators to the potential regional drone legislation in keeping with International Standards and Recommended Practices.

Members of the national team protesting outside the Saint Lucia Football Association headquarters on Wednesday, March 24.

The government has expressed disappointment with the decision to withdraw Saint Lucia’s national team from participating in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

News that the Saint Lucia Football Association (SLFA) took the decision to not participate in the qualifies shocked players of the national football team, who protested Wednesday outside the association’s headquarters in La Clery, demanding answers from the executive.
