Defending SKNFA Premier League champions S L Horsfords St. Paul’s, snatched a point from
the jaws of defeat on Friday night on their home field. It was a last-minute strike from Vinceroy
Nelson that gave St Paul’s a 1-1 draw with St. Peters FC to give the home fans something to
celebrate.

A three-goal spurt in four minutes saw MFCR Old Road United Jets dismiss Hotsprings Bath
United 3-0 on Sunday at Warner Park in the SKNFA Premier League. Old Road struggled to make
an impact in the first half, as the hot afternoon sun seemed to have taken a toll on both teams.
But in the second half, Old Road found energy and verve, scoring three goals in four minutes to
seal the win and another three points.

WINS FOR CONAREE FIREBALLS, TRINITY/CHALLENGERS AND NEWTON

GROUND IN DIVISION 1

Jody Walters of KFC Trinity/Challengers United scored a hattrick to lead his team to a 4-1
victory over Rivers of Living Water FC in the 2023 SKNFA Division 1 League on Tuesday at
the Lime Kiln Playing Field. Waters scored in the 14 th , 1 st minute of stoppage time in the first half
and the 83 rd minutes while the additional goal came from Cjay Thompson in the 67 th minute.
Jamarie Williams of Rivers scored the lone goal for his team in the 38 th minute. Walters said after
the match that, he is super confident about excelling in the league his season, along with his
team. “I’m always confident. When I wake up, I eat confidence, when I go to sleep, I sleep
confidence. Confidence and a strong mind will always get you where you want to be in life,”
Walters said. “We always must strive for better.”
