Monumental Sports And Wellness Center In The Works

St. Kitts and Nevis could become the epicenter of aquatic sport and other indoor sporting activities in the Eastern Caribbean with the realization of CJ’s Fitness & Wellness Sports Center (CJSC). The facility is earmarked for construction in the vicinity of the old Sugar Factory off the FT Williams Highway. The visionary behind the project is Calvin James, an engineer from St. Kitts and Nevis with a wealth of international experience. “CJ’s Fitness and Wellness Sports Center is a very diverse project that entails several areas in the well-being of humans. This vision came into being over 10 years ago and we have been working behind the scenes within the diaspora to develop this particular area having been given the opportunity so to do,” said Mr. James.

Sugar Boyz Defeat Aruba 3-2 In Concacaf Nations League

The Sugar Boys got the first three points of the 2022/2023 Concacaf Nations League Presented by Qatar Airways, after defeating Aruba 3-2 in Willemstad, Curacao. Carlos Bertie gave the Sugar Boyz the lead in the 6^th minute, followed by a stunning free kick from Omari Sterling James in the 32^nd minute to go in at half time two goals up. Aruba got one back in the second half but Vinceroy Nelson sealed the win and stopped any Aruba comeback when he poached on a defender to score in the 83^rdminute. Aruba got one back in the last second of the match but it was already too late. Coach Austin Dico Huggins, assessed the match as the Sugar Boyz returned home on Friday. “For the first 20 minutes or so we were being cautious, while at the same time trying to field out what it is they have to offer,” Huggins said. “After that, we began to get into our game plan and try to execute to the best of our ability.

St. Kitts and Nevis U-20 Team Gets Help From US Football Experts

Preparations for the St. Kitts and Nevis Men’s U-20 Football team got a huge boost recently with the arrival of football experts from Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU). Head Coach of the FGCU men’s team Jesse Cormier and his staff, visited St. Kitts and Nevis for 10 days last month to assist the Men’s U-20 team prepare for their upcoming Concacaf tournament next month. “We just really want to support the mission to support the U-20s,” Cormier said. “We had a player Raheem Somersall who played for us and who is one of our leaders and we have a great connection with him. We want to see this program reach its full potential,” Cormier added.
