Basseterre, St. Kitts, 21^st March 2025 (CFBC): The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC), the Federation’s only indigenous tertiary institution, will be celebrating and highlighting the work of local poets and joining in the observance of World Poetry Day for a seventh consecutive year, not only in recognition of its significance in the lives of residents of St. Kitts and Nevis, but also to further its flowering and endurance.

Basseterre, Saint Kitts, March 10, 2025 (SKNIS): Seven women were celebrated for their contributions to national development in Saint Kitts and Nevis on Saturday, March 08, 2025, during the International Women’s Day Award Ceremony and Brunch organised by the Department of Gender Affairs.

This year’s observance was celebrated under the campaign theme “Accelerate Action.”

Police are investigating a report of a burglary in which Saskia Maynard of Hanley’s Road, Nevis, sustained a number of non-lifethreatening stab wounds to the front of her body and abdomen. Initial inquiries indicate that Ms Maynard was attacked by a masked assailant. As Ms Maynard is currently pregnant, she has been warded at the Alexandra Hospital where she is reported to be in stable condition.
