Afghanistan: Bomb kills 63 at wedding in Kabul

A bomb has exploded in a wedding hall in the Afghan capital, Kabul, killing 63 people and wounding more than 180.

Witnesses told the BBC a suicide bomber detonated explosives during a wedding ceremony.

The explosion happened at around 22:40 local time (18.10 GMT) in an area in the west of the city mostly populated by Shia Muslims.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 16, 2019 (SKNIS): Thursday’s (August 15, 2019) handover of 12 new vehicles to the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) by the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) will serve to enhance the number of police patrols, reduce response time, and assist traffic management. The Police Training School has been preparing officers to meet the need for additional drivers.
