ST.KITTS-NEVIS GOVERNMENT MOVES FORWARD WITH UNIVERSAL HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAMME
Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 13, 2018 (SKNIS): The Government of St. Kitts and Nevis is pushing ahead with plans to establish universal healthcare coverage for citizens and residents of the twin-island federation with the launch of the National Health Insurance Implementation Commission.
The St. Kitts Marriott Resort will host the launching ceremony on Friday, February 23, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. While making a statement at Tuesday’s (February 13) sitting of the Federal Parliament, Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, said the move to establish the programme was a major step forward in the development of the country.
New Ritz-Carlton Hotel Resort Will Help Meet The Increased Demand For Luxury Travel Offerings On St. Kitts
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. has signed a management agreement with The Liamuiga Corporation to open a Ritz-Carlton resort in St. Kitts. The property, which is expected to open in 2021, is a first on the eastern Caribbean island for the luxury brand.

Gigantic win for the St. Kitts Tourism Authority, placing second in the 2018 Routes Americas Marketing Awards, for Excellence in Destination Marketing. St. Kitts went up against much larger destinations, including Las Vegas which placed first, Barbados, Hawaii, San Diego and Charleston.
