STATEMENT BY THE ROYAL ST. CHRISTOPHER AND NEVIS POLICE FORCE

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 09, 2017 (RSCNPF): It has come to the attention of the Police High Command of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) that there are false and malicious reports circulating on social media in relation to the Force’s investigation into and handling of Shaquille Pemberton’s death.
The High Command of the RSCNPF places on record that there has been no cover-up – and there shall be none – in the Force’s investigation into the death of 23-year-old Shaquille Pemberton of New Road, whose body was discovered in the Gillards Meadows area on January 27, 2018.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 12, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period February 09–12, 2018.
ARRESTS AND BAIL:
Arrested: Nicha Byron of Keys Village was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of a Firearm with Intent to Commit a Felony.
Arrested: Conrod Clarke of Basseterre was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Larceny.
Arrested: Alejandra Montanez, a Mexican who resides at Bird Rock, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Driving a Motor Car when not Covered with Insurance and Driving Without a Valid and Unexpired Driver’s License.

Basseterre, St. Kitts February 12, 2018 (RSCNPF): Below is a report of arrests, convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period February 03– 08, 2018.
ARRESTS AND BAIL:
Arrested: Marisa Huggins of the Garden Housing Project was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for simple wounding which was committed on January 14, 2018.
Arrested: Keane Mayer, an American who resides at Frigate Bay, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Driving Without Insurance.
Arrested: Kenrick Lewis of Sandy Point was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offence of Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply.
Arrested/Bailed: Rodrique James of St. Pauls was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with Intent to Supply. He was granted bail in the sum of $7,000 for his appearance at the Dieppe Bay Magistrate Court on March 05, 2018.

FIREARMS, DRUGS DISCOVERED AT R.L.B. INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Basseterre, St. Kitts, February 13, 2018 (RSCNPF): Officers of Her Majesty’s Customs and Excise Department discovered two (2) firearms on Monday (February 12) along with a large quantity of compressed vegetable material suspected to be Cannabis inside a package at the Robert L. Bradshaw (R.L.B.) International Airport. The package had arrived via a courier service. The firearms, one (1) Glock 34 pistol with one empty magazine and one Smith & Wesson .38, along with the vegetable material, which weighed about 500 grams (about 1 pound), were handed over to the police.
Increasing the number of firearms taken off the streets is one of several goals the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) set for itself.
