KITTS, December 30, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — Team Unity’s Caretaker for Constituency Number Three (West Basseterre), Senator the Hon Akilah Byron-Nisbett on Saturday evening December 29 at the Palm Court Gardens in Fortlands, Basseterre, paid homage to contestants in the 39th edition of the annual Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant.

STATEMENT BY ACTING COMMISSIONER OF POLICE HILROY BRANDY CONDEMNING ALL FORMS OF VIOLENCE
Citizens and residents of the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis. The members of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force have taken a solemn oath to uphold the law fairly and firmly, without fear or favour, to prevent crime, to pursue and bring to justice those who break the law, to keep the peace, as well as to protect, help and reassure residents and visitors. We have also vowed to be seen to do all this with integrity and impartiality. In this regard, we have worked assiduously throughout the year to maintain the peace and will continue to do so during our National Carnival. As such, I am taking this opportunity to speak to you to assure you that the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is committed to ensuring that Carnival 2018-2019 concludes on a high note.
