Government fails to settle New Birth land issue; TUG supporter accuses government of ‘double standard and hypocrisy’

Peoples Labour Party holds largest Political Convention in History Prime Minister Harris delivers address to Convention
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, March 25, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — The Peoples Labour Party showed its impressive growth and strength when on Saturday March 24 it hosted its second Annual National Convention, drawing a large turnout of nearly 700 participants under the huge tent at the Patsy Allers Recreational Ground in West Basseterre.
Thousands more watched the event live via social media, and others followed it via live broadcasting streams carried by local radio stations.

Pastor Hazell tells church to learn from Team Unity; praises politicians for uniting
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, March 26, 2018 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — The church is experiencing a phenomenon where it is dividing with new churches coming up, and Senior Pastor Lincoln Hazell of the Apostolic Faith Mission Church is appealing to the body to borrow a leaf from the Team Unity Government.
“Today I always tell the church, learn from Team Unity,” said Pastor Hazell. “If we work together we can get a lot of things done. You see, the politicians are uniting – the church is dividing.” He observed that anybody who wants a church and who wants to be a pastor they break away and set up a new church.
