West Basseterre MP visits constituents following Hurricane Maria

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, SEPTEMBER 21ST 2017 – Residents of West Basseterre affected by recent Hurricane Maria were visited Wednesday by their Parliamentary Representative Hon. Konris Maynard.

“The residents of West Basseterre, much like most residents around the Federation fared fairly well during the passage of Maria. There are some, however, who do need immediate relief to protect their families from leaking roofs,” Maynard said during the walk-through on Wednesday.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 19, 2017 (SKNIS)—Following the passage of Hurricane Maria and due to the dislocation which has been occasioned, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice of the Prime Minister, has declared tomorrow, Wednesday 20, from 9:00am as National Clean Up Day.
