Hurricane Jose
A Tropical Storm Watch is now in effect for Hurricane Jose. Jose is a category 3 storm, and is centered in the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 636 miles east-southeast of Saint John’s. Jose’s path is anticipated to be 75-100 miles north of St. Kitts, and is expected to make contact with St. Kitts on Saturday between 10 am -12 pm.
We expect breezy winds and 30-50 MPH gusts are anticipated with minimal storm surge and rain. While the picture we paint suggests this hurricane will have less of an impact, please do not be complacent. Prepare and stock up on supplies again.
