The Team Unity Cabinet of Ministers met on Monday, July 06, 2020, at the Ministry of Finance Conference Room.

  • Submissions were approved by the Cabinet that would redound to the development of the Federation.   
  • The Cabinet was brought up to date with the medical issues relating to management of the coronavirus (COVID-19).  
  • Cabinet was kept posted on matters with respect to the opening of Parliament on Wednesday July 08, 2020 at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort. The Opening of the Parliament will include the Election of Speaker and Deputy Speaker, Oath/Affirmation of Allegiance by Members and the Throne Speech.

TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE OPENING OF PARLIAMENT TOMORROW

PARKING:

·         Parking for Members of Parliament, the Diplomatic Core, Honorary Consuls, and members of the Judiciary will be at the Marriott Parking Lot.

·          Parking for Permanent Secretaries will be at the Angelus Parking Lot.

·         Parking for family members of members of Parliaments and Protocol Officers will be at the Marriott workers’ Parking lot north of the Frigate Bay Police Station. 

·         All other invited guests are kindly asked to use the Frigate Bay Lawn. A Shuttle service will be available from 8:45 a.m.

PARKING RESTRICTIONS

·          Parking will be restricted on the Main Road outside the Marriott Hotel.

Restrictions take effect from 8:00 AM on Wednesday 8th July, 2020. The Traffic Department is asking the general public to be guided accordingly
