A wintertime atmospheric pattern dominates the Atlantic, the Gulf of Mexico and most of the Caribbean Sea. The jet stream has dipped far south over the U.S., which pushes cold fronts and dry air toward southern latitudes. No tropical systems can penetrate this type of weather pattern.

Prime Minister Dr. The Honourable Timothy Harris is hosting a ceremony at the Edgar T. Morris Primary School where about 60 students of that school and the Estridge Primary School will receive $500 disbursements as part of Dr. Harris’ annual #HelpaChild scholarship programme. Students of the Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary and Violet Petty Primary Schools were presented with their cheques on Thursday.
