โ€œAS LONG AS THERE IS POVERTYโ€ฆ, THE GOVERNMENT MUST RESPOND,โ€ SAYS PRIME MINISTER HARRIS
Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 15, 2018 (SKNIS):ย Prime Minister, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris said that, as long as there is poverty and indigence in the Federation, the Government will provide a social protection net for those in need as a part of his administrationโ€™s good governance philosophy.

He said this after announcing that qualifying households with a total gross monthly income falling below EC$3,000 will receive a $500 monthly stipend starting next month, (December 2018), under the Poverty Alleviation Programme.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 15, 2018 (SKNIS):ย Strengthening and rebranding the Citizenship by Investment (CBI) Programme in St. Kitts and Nevis in 2016 โ€“ by making it the platinum standard โ€“ has led to a significant increase in applications to the countryโ€™s CBI programme, solidifying it as #1 worldwide.

Speaking on the CBI Programme during the prime ministerโ€™s monthly press conference on Wednesday, November 14, Les Khan, CEO of the Citizen by Investment Unit (CIU), said that the programme has gone through several significant changes, which have generated positive attention over the last couple of years.
