MINISTRY OF NATIONAL SECURITY TO EXPAND ITS POPULAR EXPLORERS YOUTH CLUB INITIATIVE

 

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, October 22, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – With five clubs successfully launched to date in St. Kitts, the Ministry of National Security is putting plans in place to further expand its Explorers Youth Clubs initiative across other communities on the island. More than 350 children between the ages of 3 and 19 years old are currently members of the Explorers Youth Clubs.

ST. KITTS AND NEVIS CUSTOMS AND EXCISE DEPARTMENT OPENS 60TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATORY ACTIVITIES

 

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, October 22, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – The St. Kitts and Nevis Customs and Excise Department kicked off its celebratory activities in recognition of its 60th anniversary serving the Federation with a well attended thanksgiving service at the Charlestown Methodist Church in Nevis on Sunday, October 21, 2018.

The service forms part of a week of activities, which runs up to Sunday, October 28, 2018 under the theme, “60 Years of Dedicated Service, Innovation and Advancement.”

FOR THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA (TAIWAN) AFTER FATAL TRAIN CRASH

On behalf of the Government and people of St. Kitts and Nevis, Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris sends sincerest sympathy and support to the Republic of China (Taiwan), its leadership and people following Sunday’s fatal train crash, which has left at least 18 people dead and more than 180 others injured.
