Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 11, 2018 (RSCNPF): One (1) 9mm Semi-Automatic Pistol and a magazine containing seven (7) rounds of matching ammunition were found in a house in Church Ground, Nevis on August 09, 2018.

St. Kitts-Nevis Female U15 Football Team defeated Anguilla 3-1 in Bradenton, Florida. The team placed 5th out of 16 teams at the CONCACAF U15 Girls Championship in Division 2. This was the first time SKN ever competed in this championship. Ellie Stokes scored a hat trick ending the tournament on 6 goals. Team SKN scored 13 goals and allowed 5.

The staff and players extend their appreciation to the SKNFA, parents, fans both home and in Bradenton for their support during the all the phases CONCACAF U15 Girls Championship. The is expected to return to the Federation tomorrow Saturday around 2pm.”

FUGITIVE BACK IN POLICE CUSTODY

 

Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 10, 2018 (RSCNPF): Twenty-two-year-old Lashon Hendrickson is back in Police custody.

A Wanted Poster was issued by the Police for Hendrickson after he escaped Police custody on August 03, 2018. He had been charged for the offences of Housebreaking and Larceny on August 02. 

Thursday evening, Hendrickson arrived at the Basseterre Police station accompanied by a lawyer. He has since received an additional charge for the offence of Escaping Lawful Custodyl. 

The Police would like to thank all the persons who assisted with this matter by either sharing the poster or sharing information with the Police. Together we achieve more.

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 9, 2018 (Press Unit in the Office of the Prime Minister) – The recent investments made by the Team Unity Government of St. Kitts and Nevis to enhance the technological capabilities of law enforcement agencies in the country are yielding the desired result—a reduction in the commission of crimes in the Federation.

This investment in the technological advancements of the security forces, particularly the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF), was propelled in 2016 when the Government, with assistance from the Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan), undertook phase 1 of the multimillion-dollar Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Project.
