Overtopping, breached sea defence cause massive flooding on WCD/EBE

Several homes in Uitvlugt, West Coast Demerara and surrounding communities are under water as a result of over topping and breach of the sea defense structures. The Leonora Cottage Hospital is also under water.

Body of murdered Phillips’ man had gunshot wounds, WINNFM reports

Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 3, 2018 – WINNFM is reporting that the body of the 26-year-old Phillips villager, murdered early Friday morning had gunshot wounds.

Although no police statement was issued on the second murder incident in which three people were killed within 24 hours, WINN said the body was found by the housing project in Phillips’. The deceased was identified as Mikelton Tyson.
