St. Kitts and Nevis sees a 200 percent increase in
murders in January 2018, compared to 2017
Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 29, 2018 – While the Team Unity Government of Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris tells the country and the world that crimes is trending downwards, the murder statistic for January this year, shows a whopping 200 percent increase compared to the same month in 2017.

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 29, 2018 – Mounting speculation that 23-year-old Shaquille Pemberton, was murdered before the body was dumped close to the control tower at the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport.
“..We need justice. He never do anything. He was kidnapped Friday and tortured and found behind the airport…” said a family member in a posting send to Washington-based Nevisian blogger Everton “Obi” Elliott.

Former PAM chairman says Speaker Michael Perkins “is bringing the parliament into disrepute”
Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 29, 2018 – A former chairman of the People’s Action Movement (PAM), a coalition partner in Prime Minister Dr. Timothy Harris’ Team Unity Government, has accused Speaker of the National Assembly, Michael Perkins of “stifling honest and free debate in Parliament” and bringing the lawmaking body into disrepute by his own actions.
