The Ministry of International Trade, Industry, Commerce and Consumer Affairs, stands tall and supports the fight against Breast Cancer.


To pay tribute to the victims, support those who are fighting and raise awareness to the potential, the entire staff within the Ministry, wore pink clothing to support the cause as Cancer and Breast Cancer Awareness is celebrated Internationally in October.

The Ministry wishes to advise the public that early detection saves lives!

Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.  22 October 2018.  Breast cancer is the main cause of cancer deaths among Caribbean females, accounting for 14%-30% of cancer deaths.  This disease has a significant impact on women’s health and is two times higher in the Caribbean compared to the USA[i].
