Crime Reaches Unprecedented High: Armed Criminals Attack Hotels

The crime situation in St Kitts and Nevis has reached epic heights despite Prime Minister and Minister of National Security Dr Timothy Harris’ constant claims that crime is trending downward.

Over the past weekend, numerous reports of criminal activity were circulated. There was an attempted murder in Saddlers Village and the armed robbery of Dolphin Discovery Park . Interestingly, Oualie Beach Hotel on Nevis was held up by armed assailants the Friday before (May 18th).

The Federation continues to suffer disruptions of day to day life by the criminal elements woven into St Kitts-Nevis society whose continued defiance of law and order is a clear indication that the coalition administration has brought the standard of leadership in the country to an all-time low.

The recent revelation of Dr Harris’ implication in the 2018 London Bribery Scandal has been spreading like wildfire since Friday 11th May when the judgement in the case “Hardip Singh aka Peter Virdee v. The National Crime Agency (NCA)” was made public. Following this shocker, the St Kitts-Nevis Labour Party issued an official request for the resignation of Dr Harris so as to avoid the compromisation and further tarnishing of the Office of the Prime Minister. Dr Harris boldly refused and continues to refuse to resign the post despite the potentially disastrous implications his continued occupancy of the Prime Minister’s position will have for the country.
