Basseterre – A pastor who was on his way home from a gospel concert is dead after he was runover by another vehicle.

Pastor Mark Hodge of Sandy Point was trying to jump start his vehicle when the driver of a car ploughed into him at Needsmust.

One dead in Nevis in third shooting incident in the Federation on Friday

Basseterre/Charlestown, November 17, 2017 – Separate shooting incidents in Dieppe Bay, St. Kitts and Cotton Ground and Gingerland in Nevis, have resulted in the murder of one man, according to multiple sources Friday.

The deadly incident late Friday afternoon occurred in Gingerland, Nevis. The circumstances including the name of the victim are unavailable at this time. The murder will be the Federation’s 20th for 2017.

Mac 11 Freed Of Murder Charge

St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): After sitting in jail for an entire year on a murder charge, Dwight “Mac 11” Jacobs of Buckley’s Estate has been released.

The 30 year-old basketball player was arrested and charged for the offence of murder and Wounding with intent for a shooting in St. Johnston Village on October 27, 2016 that left 29-year-old Marlon “Mabo” Mills dead and his girlfriend who was in the vehicle with him at the time shot in the leg.

Robbers clean out cottage; money from Vibes Bar

Basseterre, St. Kitts, November 14, 2017 – Two daring robberies were reported over the weekend in St. Kitts, with thieves making off with over EC$300,000 in furniture, valuables  and cash.

Last Thursday night, robbers emptied the Mattingly Heights cottage of a prominent retired businessman. No one occupied the cottage at the time.

“The cottage was cleaned out of almost everything,” a reliable source said. Furniture and valuables were removed leaving the house looking like a “dancehall.”

Jah Tutts And Son Charged In Major Drug Bust

St Kitts and Nevis (WINN): A father and son have been charged in what police are calling a major drug bust in the Buckleys Estate area early Wednesday morning (November 8).

Police say two search warrants were executed on two separate premises; that of Steadman “Jah Tutts” Adams and that of his son, Kwesi Adams.
