McKnight Man Charged With Murder In BVI

St. Kitts and Nevis (WINN): BVI police have arrested and charged a 22-year-old St. Kitts native with two counts of murder.

On Friday (July 28) BVI police informed that Shakeel Ryan of Long Look, Tortola, originally from Lower Shaw Avenue in St. Kitts, was charged the murders of David Springette and Shawn Richards, both killed earlier this year.

Building partnerships to ensure the RSCNPF has the capacity to meet the challenges of fighting crime, ACP Andre Mitchell met with the RCMP to discuss increased cooperation for training in investigative techniques, forensic interviewing techniques, witness protection and sexual crime investigation and other areas.. The use of technology in policing was also identified as an area ripe for future collaboration. During the visit, ACP Mitchell was accompanied by High Commissioner Shirley Skerritt-Andrew and her team.
