Scotiabank has been named Bank of the Year 2016 in St. Kitts and Nevis by The Banker Magazine a Financial Times publication. This is first occasion the Bank has been recognized by the publication, in St. Kitts and Nevis.

The Bank was this year recognized across the region with a significant number of Scotiabank operations being awarded.  In addition to St. Kitts and Nevis, Scotiabank was also named the Bank of the Year 2016 in Trinidad & Tobago, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Guyana, and Grenada.

The Banker selects one winning bank for each of the 120 countries judges. Traffic Notice

Buckie Got It….Important Traffic Notice

In order to facilitate the smooth flow of the funeral procession of the late former Governor His Excellency Sir Probyn Inniss, and the smooth flow of traffic in the vicinity of the funeral, the Traffic Department will effect the following traffic restrictions on the following streets, on Thursday 23rd March 2017:

1. No parking will be permitted on Seaton Street and the street between the Methodist Church and the Old Boy School.

2. No parking will be permitted on Victoria Road between Seaton St. and Losack Road.

3. Traffic will flow Northwards only on Victoria Road. (Towards Moravian Church)

4. Traffic will not be permitted to enter Seaton Street from Nevis Street.

5. Traffic will flow westwards only along Springfield Road, i.e the street outside Government House.

6. Traffic will be diverted from Cayon Street during the procession from the Church to the Cemetery.

These restrictions will take effect from 6:00 am and will remain in place until after the funeral procession. Traffic signs will be posted and officers will be on duty to assist the motoring public. Your full cooperation is solicited.
