CANNABIS-RELATED CHARGES LAID AGAINST AKEEM HEADLEY & RANDOLPH LIBURD

On February 25th, 2026, during a search operation at the Vance W. Amory International
Airport, Akeem Headley, an American national residing at Happy Hill Alley, Nevis, was
found in possession of two air-sealed packages containing vegetable material suspected
to be cannabis. The combined weight of the two packages was eighty-three (83) grams. Mr Headley was arrested for Importation of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with
Intent to Supply.

Driving, Obstruction, and Refusing to Provide a Specimen of Blood.

He was charged on February 21st ,2026, at the Basseterre Police Station.

CHESLYN HUTTON SENTENCED FOR UNLAWFUL CARNAL KNOWLEDGE
Cheslyn Hutton of Cotton Ground, Nevis, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for
the offences of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge and Procuring Drugs to Perform a
Miscarriage. Mr Hutton was previously charged on May 3rd, 2025, with six (6) counts of Unlawful Carnal Knowledge and one (1) count of Procuring Drugs to Perform a Miscarriage.
