Do Your Part. #GetVax”, The Honourable Senator Wendy Phipps, Minister of State with Responsibility for Health, said that “St. Kitts and Nevis has had a long track record of vaccination use and advocacy” dating as far back as the 1800s.

PM Harris lauds police recruits from the region who have offered to serve in the Federation

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, April 23, 2019 (PLP PR Media Inc.) — When Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Dr the Hon Timothy Harris, hosted a luncheon on Easter Monday April 22 for the 33 recruits of the 43rd training course of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force he observed that the majority of them are from outside of St. Kitts and Nevis, and he requested them to feel very special among Kittitians and Nevisians.

ONE PERSON IN CUSTODY IN RELATION TO STABBING INCIDENT

Basseterre, St. Kitts, April 23, 2019 (RSCNPF): Police are investigating an incident that occurred at the Warner Park in Basseterre on April 20, 2019 in which a man was seriously injured.

Investigations so far have revealed that approximately 10 p.m. on Saturday, Raheem Francis of St. Johnson Village was stabbed in the abdomen with a knife by a male who then fled the scene in a vehicle. Francis was taken to JNF General Hospital where he was rushed into surgery and is warded in a critical condition.

A man is in Police custody assisting with the investigation into the incident.
